Chevere Means Cool is a space to celebrate emerging creators who stand out for their originality, impactful missions and thoughtful work.  

Growing up in Peru, I constantly heard people saying this or that was chevere (which literally means cool) and it got me thinking about what makes something cool to me. In the end, it's about authenticity and compassion in your community— I think that’s so cool. Creating genuine connections over our love for a specific type of cuisine is cool. Creating consciously and responsibly is cool. Being a proud Latina is cool. Listening to a different perspective (and respecting it) is cool. Ultimately, I hoped that this platform would help showcase the different things that are cool to different individuals, because whatever you’re passionate about, that’s chevere.
